🪶 Do you ever feel something stirring beneath your thoughts — a whisper you can’t quite name?

🪶 Have you noticed that when you slow down, ideas arrive on their own — as if they’ve been waiting for you all along?

🪶 Are you curious about what might happen if you gave that quiet voice a pen?

If you nodded yes, you’re in good company. Writing can be more than expression — it can be communion. When we let the mind quiet, Spirit begins to speak. This isn’t about technique or grammar; it’s about remembering how to listen.
Together, we’ll explore:

· How to create the right energetic conditions for intuitive writing,
· Simple rituals to quiet the analytical mind and open the intuitive one, and
· How to recognize the difference between thought and transmission — and trust what comes through.

At White Oak Medicine, we believe language itself can be medicine. When we write from presence rather than pressure, the page becomes a mirror for the soul — a place where guidance, healing, and clarity reveal themselves one word at a time.

Taught by Kris Hanvey, PMHNP-BC, RYT, this class bridges science and spirit, psychiatry and prayer. It’s an invitation to remember that the wisdom you’ve been seeking has been speaking through you all along — waiting for the mind to grow quiet.

These classes are practical, approachable, and rooted in our whole-person philosophy of care. Whether you’re curious about holistic practices, looking for new tools, or just wanting to reconnect with yourself—this space is for you.

Each class is led by Veronica, FNP, PMHNP, or a featured presenter selected for their expertise and alignment with our whole-person approach. These classes bring a range of voices and perspectives to whole-person healing—part education, part experience, and always grounded in the idea that your body knows how to heal with the right support.

Classes are free and open to the public.

You don’t have to be a White Oak member to attend, and are encouraged to bring a friend.

What if writing wasn’t just something you do — but a way of remembering who you are?

We’ve been taught to think our way through everything — to analyze, explain, and fix.
We fill journals, chase clarity, and still feel disconnected from the quiet voice within.
But what if the answer isn’t in more thinking, but in learning to listen beneath the noise?

The truth is: the mind is not the source of wisdom — it’s the doorway to it.
When we let it quiet, Spirit speaks. Words arrive like breath, like water finding its path.
Writing becomes less about what you’re saying — and more about what’s trying to reach you.

In this gentle, experiential class, psychiatric nurse practitioner and yoga teacher Kris Hanvey will guide you through:

🕊️ How to create sacred space for automatic writing
🕊️ Simple rituals to quiet the mind and open the channel of intuition
🕊️ Recognizing the difference between thought and transmission
🕊️ How to write from the body, not the brain — and trust what comes through
🕊️ Ways to integrate this practice into daily life for guidance and healing
🕊️ The energetic imprint of stillness — how silence itself can become medicine

This class blends science, story, and Spirit — showing that the healing power of writing doesn’t begin on the page, but in the space between your thoughts.

Taught by: Kris Hanvey, PMHNP, RYT

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner · Yoga Teacher · Author

Kris Hanvey is a psychiatric nurse practitioner, yoga teacher, and lifelong student of the unseen. Known for her ability to bridge science and spirit, she’s spent decades helping people quiet the mind so the deeper work of healing can begin.

After years in clinical practice, Kris began exploring the spaces where psychology meets mysticism—where intuition, energy, and the language of the soul intersect. Through yoga, meditation, and automatic writing, she guides others to listen for the wisdom that lives beneath words.

Her work is both tender and direct, rooted in the belief that healing is less about control and more about surrender. Whether teaching a class, writing in communion with Spirit, or sitting in silence with a student, Kris reminds us that the mind is not the enemy—it’s the doorway.

When the mind quiets, Spirit speaks.

About Your Host: Veronica Johnson, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Allopathically Trained · Holistically Driven

Veronica Johnson is a dually licensed Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping people break free from a system that prioritizes profit over true healing—and guiding them back to their own innate wisdom through holistic, root-cause care.

At White Oak Medicine, Veronica integrates functional and holistic approaches to offer a grounded path toward healing—one that centers nutrition, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, and the power of informed choice. Her care model is relational, non-rushed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported.

Whether through Direct Primary Care or Functional Wellness, Veronica helps people move beyond symptom management and toward true sovereignty—where nature, intuition, and body-based knowing become primary tools for lifelong well-being.

This work is about reclaiming your connection to yourself, nature, and the rhythms that make healing possible—not just for a moment, but for a lifetime.
