🕯️ Do you feel more peaceful in certain spaces — and overwhelmed in others?

🕯️ Does clutter, light, or noise seem to change your mood or energy?

🕯️ Have you been craving a calmer home or a deeper sense of connection to your environment?

If you nodded yes to any of these, you’re not alone. Your home isn’t just a backdrop — it’s medicine. This isn’t your average talk on mindfulness or home design. Together, we’ll look at:

· How your surroundings shape the nervous system,
· Simple rituals that bring the body and home back into rhythm, and
· How to use sacred tools — like candles, crystals, and intention — to restore calm and connection.

At White Oak Medicine, we believe healing doesn’t happen in isolation; it happens in the spaces that hold us. When we learn how to tend those spaces with rhythm and ritual, our homes begin to heal us back.

Taught by Maria Solana of The Curious Cauldron, this class is an example of rhythm medicine in practice — exploring how ritual, energy, and environment support healing. Maria will share practical tools and sacred practices you can use right away to create your own sanctuary for rest, regulation, and renewal.

At White Oak Medicine, we believe true health care means understanding your whole self—not just treating symptoms. Our Health Education Series is a free, ongoing community offering designed to explore topics that support nervous system regulation, emotional wellness, and root-cause healing.

These classes are practical, approachable, and rooted in our whole-person philosophy of care. Whether you’re curious about holistic practices, looking for new tools, or just wanting to reconnect with yourself—this space is for you.

Each class is led by Veronica, FNP, PMHNP, or a featured presenter selected for their expertise and alignment with our whole-person approach. These classes bring a range of voices and perspectives to whole-person healing—part education, part experience, and always grounded in the idea that your body knows how to heal with the right support.

Classes are free and open to the public.

You don’t have to be a White Oak member to attend, and are encouraged to bring a friend.

What if your home wasn’t just where you live… but part of how you heal?

We’ve been taught to separate our bodies from our environments — to think of healing as something that happens to us, not around us.

We declutter, repaint, light candles, and still wonder why rest feels out of reach. But what if the problem isn’t the décor, but the energy we bring into the spaces that hold us?

The truth is: our homes mirror our nervous systems. When we tend them with intention, both begin to settle.

In this story-rich, sensory class, intuitive healer and shop owner Maria Solana of The Curious Cauldron will share:

✨ How environment, light, and sound influence the body’s ability to regulate
✨ Why sacred tools—like candles, incense, and crystals—can anchor ritual and calm
✨ How to cleanse, charge, and bless a space in ways that feel authentic and personal
✨ The connection between clutter, chaos, and overstimulation of the nervous system
✨ Simple, accessible rituals that restore safety, rhythm, and belonging to your home
✨ How creating sacred space can become a daily practice of self-regulation and renewal

Taught by: Maria Solana of The Curious Cauldron

Intuitive Reader · Healer · Medium

We are delighted to welcome Maria Solana, founder of The Curious Cauldron, as guest speaker for this session of the Health Education Series.

Maria and I first met this summer at The Curious Cauldron’s former home in the Asheville Mall, where we immediately hit it off. She agreed right then to bring her gifts into the Health Education Series — neither of us knowing that just a few months later, she would move her shop to Columbus Commons, only a few doors down from White Oak Medicine. She officially opened on October 1, and now not only is Maria a guest speaker, she’s also my new neighbor. The synchronicity of our meeting makes this collaboration feel all the more meaningful — it truly feels like it was meant to be.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Maria’s journey took her to Florida in 2007, where she first opened The Curious Cauldron. In 2023 she brought her practice to Western North Carolina, and now she’s planting new roots in Polk County. Maria is a Reiki Master, Vajra Transmission Master, and Certified Crystal Healer, with roots in Santeria and other ancient traditions. She offers intuitive readings, mediumship, and energy medicine with a blend of authenticity, ritual, and guided spiritual insight.

Her approach to ritual medicine aligns beautifully with our rhythm-based philosophy at White Oak Medicine, making her a powerful and inspiring guide for this class on creating sacred space.

Credentials & Experience:
• Certified Reiki Master
• Vajra Transmission Master
• Certified Crystal Healer
• Founder of The Curious Cauldron
• Experienced Intuitive Reader, Healer, and Medium

About Your Host: Veronica Johnson, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC

Educator · Clinician · Patient Empowerment Advocate

Veronica Johnson is a dually licensed Family and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping people break free from a system that prioritizes profit over true healing—and guiding them back to their own innate wisdom through holistic, root-cause care.

At White Oak Medicine, Veronica integrates functional and holistic approaches to offer a grounded path toward healing—one that centers nutrition, nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, and the power of informed choice. Her care model is relational, non-rushed, and rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and supported.

Whether through Direct Primary Care or Functional Wellness, Veronica helps people move beyond symptom management and toward true sovereignty—where nature, intuition, and body-based knowing become primary tools for lifelong well-being.

This work is about reclaiming your connection to yourself, nature, and the rhythms that make healing possible—not just for a moment, but for a lifetime.
