 Rhythm Medicine

A remembering

There is a rhythm inside you that has never been lost.

When the world pulls you off course, Rhythm Medicine invites you back—
to the deeper pulse beneath the noise,
to the breath beneath the thoughts,
to the self beneath the striving.

“Rhythm” is not a metaphor. It’s not a modality. It's a lived experience.

We all know rhythm in our bodies—through music, dance, breath, yoga, walking, even sleep. You don’t have to convince anyone that rhythm matters; they already feel it. They’ve just never named it as medicine.

Rhythm Medicine begins by honoring what you already sense:

  •  Music can shift a mood
  •  A walk at sunset feels different than a midnight scroll
  •  A good night’s sleep changes everything

Your body has its own beat, too — a deeper, quieter pulse.

Hormones, cycles, sleep-wake patterns, digestion, energy — all of it runs on rhythm. When you’re in rhythm, life flows. When you’re out of rhythm, symptoms start speaking up.

And yes, this is personal. I don’t just teach rhythm — I live it. In my own healing, my music, my dance, my breath, my yoga — it threads through everything I love. This isn’t a concept I created; it’s a remembering I practice.

When you’re younger, you can lose rhythm and bounce back quickly. But as the years pass, the body’s “wiggle room” narrows. Rhythm becomes essential to staying well.

I used to believe that in order to practice holistic medicine, I had to live a perfectly holistic life....

What Rhythm Medicine Really Is

Rhythm Medicine isn’t something I created.
It’s something I remembered.
It’s the recognition that healing isn’t a finish line you cross; it’s a dance.
A pulse that quickens and softens.
A cycle of contraction and expansion.
A spiral of forgetting and returning—again, and again, and again.
There is no single “right” rhythm.
Only the one your body is calling you back to.

Rhythm Medicine is an Invitation

....to stop forcing and start listening.
To set down perfection and pick up presence.
To find your way back—not to someone else’s pace, but to your own.
This is where we begin: at the edge of what you’ve been holding, at the quiet place where your body still remembers what it’s like to belong to yourself.

Rhythm Medicine flows through everything I do.
