Still no clear direction.
One person looks at your gut. Another looks at your anxiety. Someone else reviews your labs or changes your meds. You follow the recommendations, do your own research, and try to connect the dots.
But you still don’t understand why you feel this way. Or what to do next.
Or maybe you’ve avoided care because you’re tired of being gaslit, don’t trust the answers, or don’t want another pill handed to you before anyone has taken a serious look.
Having more explanations doesn’t necessarily mean you have a clearer picture.
Is anyone connecting the dots?
Did the exhaustion begin before the autoimmune diagnosis? After your sleep fell apart? After a medication change? Or during years of being on alert?
Did the anxiety start after a betrayal? While you were swallowing your anger to keep the peace? Did treatment help, make things worse, or add something new?
And those brain zaps when you tried to taper? Did anyone look carefully at the timing before telling you your illness was coming back?
Your physical health, treatments, relationships, habits, and history don’t operate in separate compartments. The sequence matters.
In this workshop, we’ll look at what gets missed when everyone examines a piece and no one steps back to look at the whole story.
What you’ll learn
💡 A different way to look at your symptoms: what can get missed when physical health, mental health, medications, and life circumstances are treated as separate problems.
💡 Why psychiatric labels don’t always settle the question: how overlapping symptoms can lead to different diagnoses, and why another diagnosis doesn’t automatically mean another medication is the answer.
💡 Five questions to ask before agreeing to a treatment change: questions about the explanation, the alternatives, the risks, and how you’ll know whether it’s helping.
💡 How to bring your experience into the conversation with your doctor: describe what changed, question what doesn’t make sense, and ask for the reasoning behind a recommendation.
You’ll get a one-page worksheet to use during the workshop. We’ll walk through examples with and without medications, and leave time for questions.

Hi, I’m Veronica.
I’m a holistic family and psychiatric nurse practitioner with a background in cardiology, critical care, trauma recovery, and addiction treatment.
I don’t separate the body from the mind, or either from the story you’ve lived. And I don’t assume the answer is another prescription.
I call my approach Rhythm Medicine™. We look at the patterns across your whole story and the rhythms of your daily life so we can make more informed decisions about your care.
At the end of the workshop, I’ll introduce The Untangling, my four-month program for doing this work together with clinical care and ongoing support.
Start with the part that hasn’t made sense.
You don’t need to have your history organized before you come. Choose one symptom, concern, or turning point you want to understand better.
This workshop gives you a place to begin putting it in context.
