Chakra Breathwork
Release. Rewild. Remember.
Chakra Breathwork at White Oak
There are seven major chakras, traditionally understood as energy centers in the body associated with grounding, sensuality, personal power, love, expression, vision, and spiritual connection. The music is curated to move through each of these centers, inviting you to connect with what we call your own inner healer through breath, sound, and experience, without psychedelics.
You may have heard people describe psychedelic experiences as a way to loosen the ego’s grip and get out of their own way. Breathwork also offers a way to explore non-ordinary states of consciousness. The intention is to give the thinking mind less control over the experience and make room for sensations, emotions, images, and insights to emerge.
One of my breathwork mentors had her psychedelic integration students attend a holotropic breathwork session as part of their experiential training. It gave them an opportunity to explore an expanded state without taking a substance.
My training includes both Holotropic and Shamanic Breathwork. Chakra Breathwork brings together elements of both.
Holotropic Breathwork combines deeper, accelerated breathing with evocative music and supported inner exploration. Drawing a mandala and sharing afterward help participants reflect on and integrate their experience.
Shamanic Breathwork combines cyclical breathing with music arranged around the chakras, ceremony, artistic expression, and community sharing. It brings a spiritual framework to the experience, inviting a relationship with your own inner wisdom.
At White Oak, we bring these approaches together with time to prepare, support a partner, breathe, create, and reflect. You don’t need previous experience or particular spiritual beliefs. What the experience means to you is yours to explore.
This is breath as medicine.
Breath as prayer.
Breath as the bridge between who we’ve been
and who we’re becoming.
Who is this for?
You may be navigating grief, a life transition, or patterns you keep finding yourself in. You may already be doing inner work and want to explore through your body, breath, and music. Or you may simply be curious about what this experience could bring.
You don’t need previous experience with breathwork, meditation, or spiritual practice. You don’t need to believe in chakras. You do need a willingness to participate in a shared weekend, including taking turns breathing and supporting a partner.
This retreat may interest you if:
❀ You want space to explore grief, change, or questions about your life
❀ You’re interested in the relationship between physical sensations, emotions, and your own inner experience
❀ You want to explore recurring personal or family patterns
❀ You’re drawn to breathwork and non-ordinary states of consciousness without psychedelics
❀ You want time on the land, shared meals, and connection with others
What to Expect
We gather from Friday evening through Sunday lunch, with time for preparation, breathwork, and integration.
Friday: Arrive and connect
We begin with a shared meal and time to get to know each other. That evening, we explore the breathwork process, what you might experience, and how to support someone as a sitter. You’ll partner up before we close the evening, with time afterward to gather around the fire.
Saturday: Breathe and support
Each participant has one breathing session and one session as a sitter. You and your partner decide who breathes first, then switch roles after lunch.
Each session includes approximately 90 minutes of breathing with music, followed by 30–60 minutes to draw a mandala and an hour for sharing. No artistic experience is needed. The drawing gives you another way to express and reflect on what you experienced.
Before dinner, you’ll meet the visiting practitioners and learn about their offerings. Saturday evening includes optional auricular acupuncture, oils, EFT, Reiki, and intuitive readings, depending on practitioner availability.
These offerings are intended to support integration. You can choose what interests you, walk the land, rest, or spend time around the fire.
Sunday: Reflect and close
We come together for reflection and a closing ceremony, then share lunch before saying goodbye.
Throughout the weekend, you’ll be supported in respecting your own limits. There is no pressure to have a dramatic experience or interpret it in a particular way.

Queen Anne’s Lace is our symbol for Chakra Breathwork at White Oak. For me, it represents sanctuary, connection to the earth, and the relationship between our own healing and the generations we come from.
Wild and wise. Strong and soft. A delicate strength growing in untamed places.
A Note from Veronica
I’ve trained in both Holotropic and Shamanic Breathwork, and over time, I’ve developed a practice that weaves together what I believe are the most powerful elements of both—while staying grounded in the nervous system, trauma-informed care, and a deep reverence for Nature and her role in our individual healing.
And I want there to be time for what happens around the breathwork, too. Time to get to know the people you’ll be breathing with. To share a meal, sit around the fire, walk the land, and reflect before heading back into everyday life.
The Breath requires presence. There is nothing more sacred than the breath and the process of coming home to ourselves. We breathe with the body. With the heart. With the part of us that remembers.
Just like Queen Anne’s Lace—rooted deep, wildly free, and blooming where she’s least expected—this work meets you exactly where you are.
I look forward to welcoming you here.
